Brought to you today by the letter B.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading through The Craft Companion Book by Ramona Barry and Rebecca Jobson.
I enjoyed it so much that I thought I would write some blog entries using the entries from A to Z.
B is for Baskets.
Oh I love me a good basket. It can be made of anything – rope, string, fabric. Maybe it is because I love to sort my stuff and then sort it again – and where to put it all? In baskets of course. I loved making the rope topped bags recently that I’ve decided to add a rope basket or two to my repertoire. Will share when I’ve tried them.
B is for Beads
Beads have been around for such a long time. Years ago, I did some jewellery making classes with my Mum (heavens that must have been pre children!). We threaded beads onto a piece of wire and crimped little silver bead thingys either side to keep them in place. Did anyone else ever make them? Something else I tried years ago was rolled paper beads. Another thing to add to the list of things to make or try this year.
2017 is going to be so busy… what have you got planned?
B is also for busy…..
